By accessing or using AniQuotes API ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

AniQuotes API is a free, open-source REST API that provides anime quotes in multiple languages, image generation, full-text search, and auto-translation. The Service aggregates quotes from local curated data and external providers including Animechan.

4. Content Ownership

All anime quotes, character names, and anime titles are the property of their respective creators and licensors. AniQuotes API does not claim ownership of any third-party content. Generated images include a watermark attribution. The API code itself is open-source under the MIT License.

5. Image Generation

The Service generates PNG images from quote data. Generated images include a watermark reading "API Source: GitHub/AniQuotes". You may use generated images freely with this attribution intact.

6. Auto-Translation

The Service uses LibreTranslate for automatic translation. Translations are provided as-is and may not be perfectly accurate. The Service is not responsible for translation quality.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee:

In no event shall AniQuotes API, its creator, or contributors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

The Service aggregates content from external providers. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of these external sources.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
